Mission

Mamadêlê Foundation is an organization that produces performances, classes, and trips that celebrate the arts and culture of Bahia, Brazil. Based in Philadelphia, we provide arts education programs throughout the tri-state area as well as performances around the globe.

Mamadele Foundation envisions a world where the richness of Afro-Brazilian culture is celebrated, preserved, and shared globally. Through the power of the arts, we aim to foster deeper connections between people, bridge cultural gaps, and inspire future generations to embrace the diverse traditions of Bahia, Brazil.
