The night kicks off at 8:30pm with a curated mix of Brazilian dance favorites to get you warmed up.\u00a0Live music starts at 9:30pm with house group Dend\u00ea & Band<\/strong><\/b>, showcasing their unique flavor of Afro-Brazilian, Samba, and Funk. Vamos dan\u00e7ar! VENUE INFO \u2013 PLEASE READ!<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n Dend\u00ea is a percussionist, singer, composer, bandleader, teacher, and multi-instrumentalist. He\u02bcs been a professional musician since the age of 14, when he appeared in the frontline of Timbalada, Carlinhos Brown\u02bcs superstar percussion ensemble. Since 2001, he\u02bcs been splitting his time between the US and Bahia, working with his own ensembles. His flagship group, Dend\u00ea & Band reflects the cross-section of his deep roots in traditions like samba de roda and Candombl\u00e9 and his eclectic musical appetite for other global rhythms like rumba, afrobeat and mbalax.
