| Mamadêlê Productions is an organization that produces performances, educational workshops, classes and trips that cultivate exchange with the culture of Bahia, Brazil. Primarily working in the US, we seek to express the energy found in Brazilian culture through the music, dance and martial arts of Bahia. OUR PERFORMANCES: Lead by master percussionist Dendê, all of our performance groups provide the best there is to offer in Afro-Brazilian music, dance and martial arts. OUR CLASSES: We offer classes with master percussionist Dendê in Afro-Brazilian percussion in the New York City area to children and adults. Workshops and residencies can also be arranged.
